May 3, 2.58pm: An alleged hit and run has left a man in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, as police continue to search for the driver.
NT Police allege the man was crossing the outside lane of Temple Tce – just before the Emery Ave roundabout – about 7pm on April 25 when he was hit by the car.
The car involved is understood to be an older model silver four-door sedan, according to police.
Police further allege the driver did not stop to help the man and continued to drive south along Temple Tce.
A bystander later provided the man with assistance until police and St John NT arrived, it was claimed.
The man was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are urging anyone with information or who may have dashcam footage or CCTV from the area around the time of the collision, to make contact on 131 444 and quote reference number NTP2500043020.

Unconscious man found at home after serious alleged assault
May 3, 11.15am: NT Police are on the hunt for an unknown alleged offender after finding an unconscious man with serious head injuries at a home in Palmerston.
The Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received reports of the unconscious man at an address in Johnston about 10.05pm Friday.
Police allege the unknown offender seriously assaulted the victim before fleeing the scene.
The victim has since been taken to Royal Darwin Hospital with serious head injuries and is in a serious but stable condition.
Investigations are ongoing as police search for the alleged offender.
Detectives urge anyone with information about the incident to contact police on 131 444, quoting reference number NTP2500045794.
Youths allegedly assault elderly woman in Katherine
May 2, 12.15pm: NT Police are searching for a group of youths alleged to have assaulted an elderly woman and fled with her bag in Katherine.
Police received reports the group allegedly robbed the woman as she was getting in her vehicle on Railway Terrace about 11.30am on Thursday.
The youths allegedly assaulted the woman and stole her bag before leaving the scene.
She suffered minor injuries and self-presented at Katherine Regional Hospital for treatment.
Katherine police are investigating the incident and urge anyone with dashcam footage from the area to make contact on 131 444 and reference job number NTP2500045006.
‘Dangerous, reckless’: Vehicle impounded after burnouts on major road
May 1, 4.20pm: The Northern Territory Police Force has impounded a vehicle in relation to hooning offences in Berrimah last week.
On Friday 25 April, a white Holden Commodore utility was witnessed conducting a burnout along McMillans Road.
The vehicle has since been impounded under anti-hooning legislation.
The driver has been issued an infringement notice for the following offences: drive vehicle causing loss of traction, damaging surface of road or public place and drive in a disorderly manner.
Superintendent Rick Magree said the behaviour was “dangerous, reckless and will not be tolerated”.
“It risks not only a fine, but serious injury or death either for yourself or for others on the road.”
Woman taken to hospital after crash at busy intersection
April 29, 1pm: A crash at the corner of Malak Crescent and McMillans Rd has slowed down traffic as emergency services clean up.
Emergency services received reports of the double vehicle crash about 12.55pm on Tuesday.
A woman was seen being treated at the scene by St John NT paramedics before being taken away by ambulance.
The vehicle impact appeared to be a T-bone between two smaller cars.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were on the scene to clean up and divert traffic.
Southbound traffic on Malak Crescent was closed leading onto McMillans Rd.
The accident occurred 500m from a previous accident on McMillans Rd on Sunday.
Witness wanted in relation to massage parlour robbery
April 29, 10am: NT Police are calling for a witness who may be able to assist them in relation to an alleged robbery at a massage parlour in Darwin CBD on April 15.
Serious Crime detectives believe the man pictured could assist with inquiries and are requesting he contact police.
Anyone with information of the man’s whereabouts is asked to contact police on 131 444 and reference job number NTP2500038888.
The aggravated robbery occurred at the CBD massage parlour about 12.50am on April 15.
Police allege two men entered the business and stole cash and property while assaulting workers.
A 37-year-old man was later arrested.
Woman in serious condition after two vehicle crash
April 27, 4pm: A Top End woman is in a serious condition in hospital following a road crash at Marrara on Sunday afternoon.
The 34-year-old was turning right onto McMillans Rd from Matthews Rd around 4pm, when her car was struck by another vehicle which allegedly ran a red light.
The driver was initially trapped in the vehicle and suffered injuries to her pelvis, while her 33-year-old female passenger suffered multiple traumatic injuries including losing consciousness.
Both women were taken to hospital, where the driver remains in a serious condition.
Man taken to hospital after hit and run in Palmerston
April 25, 7pm: A 32-year-old man sustained injuries to his head, legs and spine following a hit and run crash on Temple Tce in Palmerston on Friday evening.
The male pedestrian was hit across the bottom half of his legs by a car estimated to be travelling between 60-80km/h, being thrown over the bonnet and landing on the road.
He was taken to RDH in a stable condition.
