THE multimillion-dollar luxury super yacht involved in a COVID-19 scare when it arrived in Cairns from the Maldives in December has just spent the last week in Darwin.
Since its surprise Cairns arrival the Lady E has completed a circumnavigation of Australia — no cheap affair given the cost to hire the luxury ship is $785,000 a week.

When Lady E arrived in Cairns a crew member tested positive for COVID-19 and was treated in a Cairns hospital and the rest of the crew placed in quarantine.
After getting the all clear, the ship’s voyage continued.
The five deck Lady E has been ambling its way around the world since leaving the UK around October last year, following a 12-month refit.
The 74.5m yacht sleeps is currently sailing under the flag of Cayman Islands, has 12 guests, a crew of 20 and is available for charter through London-based superyacht sales and charter firm Burgess.
Its features include six guest rooms, a beach club at sea level; stylish sit-up bar, 77 inch TV; spa facilities; Turkish hammam, massage and beauty room; fully equipped gym on the barbecue deck; an elevator serving all decks from the lower deck to the barbecue deck; large heated pool on the sun deck; and dedicated highspec waterspouts program. There are toys such as jetskis and seabobs, an aquapark, a water slide and hoverboards.

Everything about Lady E is on a grand scale, from the swirl of her chic spiral staircase to her vast master suite with its separate office, walk in wardrobes, his and her bathrooms.
With acres of luxurious deck space across four levels guests can breakfast on the bridge aft deck, lunch al fresco on the BBQ deck sheltered by retractable glass screens and dine indoors at the bridge deck dining table.
