LARRAKIA man and former footballer Daniel Motlop has released a new Bush Apple flavoured gin, which captures the flavours of the Top End, through his business Seven Seasons.
The gin is created using native Australian ingredients with the taste of berries and orange blossom, and is inspired by the Monsoon season.

Mr Motlop said the business aims to employ Aboriginal people and celebrate local flavours.
“By employing local harvesters, we have been able to create sustainable jobs for hundreds of Aboriginal people and their payments flow back into their communities, which is really what is important,” said Motlop.
“We’ve been able to include them in a commercial product and commit to buying a substantial amount from them every year.
“It was a dream of mine to create a company that celebrated the learning, culture and ingredients from the Top End.”

This is his second release after the success from Green Ant Gin, with a third in May called Native Yam Vodka.
“It’s a natural progression to develop these new flavours and showcase what else my people have to offer,” Mr Motlop said.
