Darwin raised singer, song writer and producer Vassy has made a highly prestigious one billion list with her collaborative track Bad, and gotten a billboard in New York’s Times Square.

DARWIN raised singer, song writer and producer Vassy has truly hit the big time, making the highly prestigious APRA AMCOS one billion list with her collaborative track Bad and getting a billboard in New York’s Times Square.
APRA AMCOS is an independent music rights management organisation that awards artists when a track reaches the 1 billion stream milestone.
The 2014 electronic dance track was created in collaboration with Dutch duo, Showtek, and French producer, David Guetta.

Vassy said it was a privilege to be acknowledged for one of her biggest records.
“It was so exciting to receive this award for being on the one billion list, it’s such an honour,” she said.
Proven to be a global hit, Bad now sits at two billion streams and is a seven time double platinum hit in 10 countries.
Released earlier this year, the highly decorated artist teamed up with fellow Aussie duo ‘Bonka’ for their latest dance-pop track Chase. “It felt really good to make this with my fellow Australians, I am so excited to release this in Australia, as well as the US,” Vassy said.
