SPECIALIST small cruise ship company Coral Expeditions has announced two special departures across the top of Australia for early in the new year.
The Across the Top itineraries will operate between Broome and Cairns, including stops in the NT, next January with only two 18-night voyages planned (January 1 and January 20) on the company’s state of the art 2019 expedition ship Coral Adventurer.
Covering more than 4000km of remote coastline, the voyage will take a small number of guests through Australia’s great rivers, pristine outer reefs, and traditional communities which are visited by very few.
The expeditions will be led by Coral Expeditions’ guides who share insights into the rich history, geology, and Indigenous cultures.
Commercial director Jeff Gillies said the voyages had been created for Australians and inspired by guest demand.
“We have joined together our 10-night Kimberley and 11-night Cape York and Arnhem Land voyages,” Mr Gillies said. “These are two of our most popular Australian expeditions. This combined voyage brings together our greatest hits.”
Highlights include:
LACEPEDE Islands and Adele Island for sightings of rare seabirds.
RIDING tidal rapids through Horizontal Falls aboard a Zodiac and seeing the majestic King George Falls in full cry in the wet season.
