70,000 arrivals to the NT since borders reopened

ALMOST 70,000 people have travelled to the Territory since borders were reopened on July 17.

ALMOST 70,000 people have travelled to the Territory since July 17.

NT Government data shows that as of September 13, 30,520 people had arrived in the NT by air and a further 38,320 by road.

There have also been 764 arrivals by sea or rail.

There have been 40,715 tests conducted across the Territory.

Currently 966 people have been required to quarantine, with 32,335 compliance checks completed and 150 fines issues for breaking quarantine rules.

The Territory has reached a month since its last active cases recovered.

On August 14 a man and a woman, who had returned to the NT from Melbourne earlier in the month, officially recovered from the virus.
