NT arrival numbers since border reopening reach 62,000

NEARLY 62,000 people have arrived in the Northern Territory since borders were reopened.

NEARLY 62,000 people have arrived in the Northern Territory since borders were reopened.

Since July 17, 61,856 people have crossed the borders, including 26,867 by air and 34,691 by road.

A total of 298 people have arrived via rail.

The Northern Territory currently has no active coronavirus cases.

As of Sunday afternoon, 693 people have been taken to supervised quarantine.
