UPDATE: Police are investigating the circumstances of a quad bike crash that killed an 80-year-old man east of Darwin this morning.
St John Ambulance NT operations manager Craig Garraway said paramedics responded to a quad bike accident on a station west of Marrakai at about 1am on Wednesday.
“My understanding is that a male patient out there has passed away, ” he said.
He said CareFlight was also called to the incident.
NT WorkSafe and NT Police are investigating the circumstances.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
