A driver who allegedly crashed into a pedestrian and fled the scene will face court nearly a month after the alleged incident.
An NT Police spokesman said the 51-year-old man struck an 18-year-old on the corner of Schmidt St and Memorial Dr, Tennant Creek, about 10.40am September 11.
The spokesman said the young man suffered minor injuries due to the crash.
He said the driver was arrested five days later.
The 51-year-old man has been charged with recklessly endanger life, driving in a dangerous manner, failure to stop after crash, failure to assist at crash, and failure to report crash.
He was bailed to appear in the Tennant Creek Local Court on October 10.
