Woman arrested after blowing five times the legal blood alcohol limit
A woman who police said was so drunk she was unable to safely pull her car over when stopped by police, will be charged with high range drink driving and driving while unlicensed.

A 33-year-old woman has been returned a blood alcohol reading more than five times the legal limit after her driving caught the attention of police on Sunday night.

NT Police Northern Watch Commander Siir Tennosaar said the woman was so impaired she was unable to safely pull over and was arrested by Police.
“The female came to the attention of police at around 11.40pm (Sunday) night after she was observed driving erratically on Stuart Highway in Parap,” she said.
“Upon being requested to pull over the female mounted the kerb before coming to a stop.”

The woman later returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.253 per cent and will be charged later this morning with a range of driving offences, including high range drink driving and driving while unlicensed.
