A MAN has undergone surgery after being stabbed in the stomach during a robbery in Nightcliff.
NT Police said two men were walking along Progress Dr about 10.15pm on Friday when they were approached by three men.

The trio allegedly surrounded the duo and demanded money.
A police spokeswoman said a small amount of cash was handed over before both of the men were allegedly assaulted.
The spokeswoman said one of the trio was armed.
The man who received stab wounds also sustained minor abrasion injuries.

The other victim suffered a sore jaw after being punched.
