THE future of Darwin’s iconic Hooker’s Ball remains up in air, with organisers still undecided about bringing it back.

Billed as the city’s raunchiest and naughtiest night of the year, the Hooker’s Ball has be missing from NT event calenders since 2017 when it was last held at Monsoons.

There was no Hooker’s Ball held in 2018 and there are currently no plans to bring it back to Darwin this year.

Over the last 30 years, the Hooker’s Ball has welcomed people from all walks of life including drag queens, fetishists and swingers.

A spokesman from Monsoon’s management team said they still had not decided whether or not they would hold the event again.

“We haven’t made a choice on that yet,” he said.

“We’ll be able to say whether or not we’ll hold it a bit further down the track.”
