MORE than 30 Alice Springs businesses have signed up to participate in the myAlice discount voucher scheme so far.

Residents and visitors can now access a suite of discounts from Alice Springs businesses with the launch of the myAlice digital discount voucher scheme on Thursday.

The initiative is a buy local incentive designed to stimulate the economy and participation is free for businesses and consumers.

Every registered user will have $40 worth of myAlice Discounts available per day until the program funds are all redeemed.

Discounts can be accessed from a range of businesses including food and beverage and accommodation, retail, personal care and activities.

The $400,000 program is a joint venture by Northern Territory Government and Alice Springs Town Council, with funds to be released in three rounds from now until February.
