The dogs were reported as stolen to police, rangers, the shelter and vets and have been found more than three weeks later.
It is unknown at this stage where the dogs were located.
Owner Stacey Leddra said the family were grateful for everyone’s help, including NT Police, after the community pitched in to keep an eye out for the dogs.
“Not sure who had the biggest smile, maybe all of us,” she said.
“To all of the wonderful people of Alice Springs and those of you afar, our family and friends, and all our new friends, we send massive thanks for everything you have all done these past weeks.
“Without a doubt, every single contribution has resulted in Rocky and Rumble coming home.
“Every bit of support, hard work and encouragement from you, has given us the determination to not give up.
