A YOUNG mother and her baby, who were both reported as missing for more than a week, have reported in safely to NT police.
Police confirmed 17-year-old Makasha Prayta and her one year-old child, Shontayhia, who were reported as missing more than a week ago, attended Alice Springs Police Station on Wednesday evening.

A spokeswoman said police no longer held concerns for their welfare.
Police announced at around 6.30pm on Wednesday that the duo had been found.
Superintendent Brett Prowse said, “We’d like to thank the community for their assistance in helping us locate the pair.”
