‘I had to do a double take’: Cheeky Kmart item stuns shoppers

A new Kmart product has caused quite a stir among shoppers, with many doing a double take after seeing the unexpected item posted in a popular Facebook group. 

The $10 Vibration Massager, which was shared in the Kmart & The Warehouse Hacks & Decor NZ Facebook group, quickly went viral, after the suggestive shape caught the attention of hundreds of curious members.

Why does it... look like that?

The post showed a screenshot of the item, which is a curved, black, hand-held vibration massager.

The caption simply read, “Damn, Kmart. That's gonna sell well. 😂”

The tool, which has just landed in stores, is designed to “massage your shoulders, neck and back with ease” and is “perfect for relaxing after a long day of work”, according to the budget retailer’s website. 

It also has two vibration settings and is shaped in a way so it can be used for “personal use”, a.k.a, reaching over your shoulders.

"Cheaper than getting pregnant"

The comments section was immediately filled with hilarious reactions, with users taking the opportunity to point out the obvious X-rated subtext.

"Bahahaha this has popped up on the ads on FB for the past week," one person shared.

"Sweet Jesus, I had to check what group I was in," another user admitted.

"Where do you use it? Asking for a friend," quipped one commenter.

"Better and cheaper than getting pregnant," someone else joked.

"BRB, laughing my a** off," one shopper giggled. 

"Kmart really does have everything," another person noted.

Some users also revealed that the item was already out of stock in some locations.

"Can’t find it in my local… oh my gosh, you girls are wild!" one user wrote.

So, do you need to relax after a long day at work? Maybe a Kmart trip is in order...
