CHIEF Minister Michael Gunner and his wife, ABC journalist Kristy O’Brien, have welcomed their first child on Thursday evening, Hudson (Huddy) Thomas Gunner.
In a brief post on Facebook on Friday morning, the Chief Minister welcomed his new son into the world.

“Hudson Thomas Gunner, 4240g of naughtiness,” he said.
“Kristy was magnificent. Women are warriors.”
Mr Gunner began his first Easter as a father in unfamiliar Territory, but was quick to adapt.
“He’s had his first cry. I changed his first nappy. And he slept through his first (false) fire alarm,” he said.
