HEALTH authorities have revised their advice on how many people are allowed to exercise together at recreational reserves in Freds Pass, McMinns Lagoon and Knuckey Lagoon.
Litchfield Council released some public advice from health authorities on Wednesday that said effective immediately recreational reserves at Freds Pass, McMinns Lagoon and Knuckey Lagoon will only be open to the public for exercising by yourself.

“This means no other family members can be with you,” the statement said.
“This is part of the direction council received this morning from the Chief Health Officer.
“No events or gatherings are permitted in any reserves.
“People may continue to exercise their horses or dogs at one of the reserves, however you must do it alone.”
A spokeswoman from Litchfield Council said the statement was later taken down at the request of legal services at the Department of Health because they were reviewing the directions around exercising.
A NT Health spokeswoman said all Territorians are still urged to limit outdoor gatherings to two people, except for your immediate family or household.

“The Litchfield Council reserves and Freds Pass reserve are closed for events and gatherings but can still be used by the community for exercise,” she said.
“This includes exercising and caring for horses and ponies, but only as individuals and not as a club-related activity.”
