“We do comedy shows where we use no set, we have original music, we do lots of physical comedy,” she said.

“We’ve toured our previous shows around the NT, Fah King Ridiculous, Hillbilly Horror, the Royal National Theatre of Jingili has sold out to the NT and now it’s time do a new sci-fi based show.”

The group specialises in tongue in cheek humour, adapting each show with their unique style that many would expect from a troupe as local as the Royal National Theatre of Jingili.

“They can expect of belly laughs, a lot of silly comedy, a lot of fun and a bit of a contemporary twist in saving the world,” she said.

“People are ready to for a laugh, after recent experiences, people are ready to come together safely and have a good laugh, we’re ready for it so that’s what we’re doing, we’re mercilessly mining the sci-fi trope while we’re doing it,” Ms Fearn said.

The Final Front Ear runs for the duration of the festival at 6pm at Brown’s Mart Theatre.
