A glowing Margot Robbie had her baby bump on show as the Aussie star enjoyed a swim on holiday in Italy.

A pregnant Margot Robbie has been spotted enjoying a swim while on holiday in Italy.

The Australian actress, 34, was photographed on a day out on the water on Palmarola Island on Thursday, alongside her husband of eight years, Tom Ackerley.

The Barbie star’s growing baby bump was on full display during the outing, with Robbie pictured wearing a black bikini as she soaked up the sunshine on-board a dinghy.

For his part, Ackerley rocked a pair of red boardshorts.

After their swim, the three-time Oscar nominee was seen steering a jet ski with her husband on the back.

At one point, Robbie and Ackerley, also 34, were seen making their way down a cliffside toward the water.

The Gold Coast actress, who lives in Los Angeles, was seen enjoying lunch earlier in the week in Sardinia, as she savours some down time following a busy filming period and ahead of the arrival of her first child with Ackerley.

Starting a family has always been in the future for the couple, who own the production company LuckyChap Entertainment.

In a 2018 interview with Porter magazine, Robbie revealed having a big family was her dream.

“If I’m looking into my future 30 years from now, I want to see a big Christmas dinner with tons of kids there. But definitely not at the moment. That’s 100 per cent certain,” she told the outlet.

It was in July this year thatPeople confirmed the pair were expecting their first baby.

“Family means a lot to both of them and they knew early on in their relationship being parents was something they really wanted,” the source told the magazine.

“They’ve been keeping it under wraps for a while but are happy the news is out.”

The expectant parents first met in 2013 on the set of the period drama Suite Française. Robbie starred in the film about World War II, while Ackerley was as an assistant director.

Although they never announced their engagement, in 2016 they were married in a private ceremony in Byron Bay.
