ROMANCE has prevailed in the Big Brother house with Darwin’s Sophie Budack making it through to the final three on this year’s season of the reality show.

After in-house partner Chad won the final challenge, Sophie’s place in the finale was guaranteed and she is looking forward to reuniting with — and competing against — Chad for almost $235,000 at tonight’s finale, when the final vote goes public.

“I dropped to my knees and was like ‘thank God’,” she said.

“I’m picturing that movie moment where they run to each other at the airport and hug each other.

“I’m here to prove that we can do it, we kind of get discounted a bit when it comes to Australia but just because we come from a small town it doesn’t mean we can’t win.”
