Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been in contact with his kids from jail following his sex trafficking arrest.

The 54-year-old embattled rapper has spoken “briefly to family members and his children via phone”, a source with knowledge of the situation told People on Monday.

The insider added that the father of seven is “very concerned” about his kids’ “wellbeing.”

The individual added, “He has three minor children, two of whom now have no living parent available with him incarcerated. Four of his seven children have neither parent available with him incarcerated.”

A second source close to the family claimed that Combs’ children are “in a state of crisis and shock” amid the accusations.

“It’s heartbreaking to see the children in the state they’re in,” the insider told the outlet. “This is their father. But to them, he’s not Diddy — he’s Dad. He has always been a loving, devoted father.”

Combs shared son Christian, 26, and twin daughters Jessie and D’Lila, 17, with his late wife Kim Porter, who died in 2018 at the age of 47.

Combs also adopted Porter’s son Quincy, 33, whom the model shared with singer Al B. Sure!.

Additionally, the music mogul is the father of son Justin, 30, with stylist Misa Hylton, as well as daughter Chance, 18, with Sarah Chapman.

He welcomed his youngest daughter, Love, with Dana Tran in October 2022.

Last week, a source claimed that Combs “desperately” wanted to speak to his kids while behind bars at the City of New York Department of Corrections.

TMZ reported at the time that his family was “leaning on each other for support” and “turning to God for guidance and strength.”

The “I’ll Be Missing You”artist was reportedly placed on suicide watch after being denied bail.

Combs was arrested on September 16 and charged with three counts: racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Diddy’s fall from grace began in November 2023 when his ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura filed a lawsuit accusing him of raping and physically abusing her throughout their 10-year relationship.

The former couple settled the suit the next day.

Combs again made headlines when a shocking video surfaced in May 2024 of him beating Cassie in a hotel in 2016.

While the record producer had initially denied the singer’s sexual abuse claims, he was forced to eat crow after the footage went viral and called his actions “inexcusable”.

Combs is facing at least eight separate lawsuits and has denied any wrongdoing.
