MULTIPLE social media pages seemingly dedicated to kids glorifying schoolyard fights across Darwin and Palmerston have been reported to the police.
The Department of Education confirmed it was aware of several social media pages sharing fight videos involving students from multiple schools across the Darwin region.

It comes after footage surfaced of an ugly school brawl at Taminmin College last month.
Opposition spokeswoman for Education Jo Hersey said she found the trend of social media pages “incredibly concerning.”
A spokeswoman from the Department of Education said the pages had been reported to police as it contains “inaccurate and outdated information” causing distress among students and families.

“Amplifying incidents where young children have made a bad choice is not helpful in learning from their mistakes, supporting restorative practices or the children’s wellbeing,” she said.
“If parents and communities have concerns, they should speak directly with their child’s school or raise them with the department.”
