CHARLES Darwin University staff will find out today whether they still have a job.
All staff have been invited to attend the presentation of the final CDU Change Plan.
It’s understood 71 CDU positions will disappear under the restructure to be announced.
Of these, more than 30 staff have already accepted redundancy offers and some staff will be offered new positions within the university.
It is believed that about 30 staff will no longer have a job.
The NT News revealed the restructure plans at the end of September and since then the proposed changes have gone through a consultation phase with stakeholders.
The restructure is expected to save the university $10m, and the number of positions no longer required represents five per cent of all CDU employees.
