COSMETIC store MAC will not return to Darwin airport after the store was temporarily closed in the terminal due to Covid-19 last year.
The NT News understands the business opened up in the Darwin Airport terminal in early 2018, and won’t reopen.

Airport Development Group property and terminal executive general manager Ross Baynes said the airport worked with a number of external companies at the airport.
“During Covid many of these outlets closed and whilst some are reopening some have made the decision not to, with one of these businesses being MAC,” he said.
“Businesses that are reopening – or closing – are doing so on the basis of their own business operations”
Mr Baynes said
“DIA’s focus is to ensure that all passengers transiting through our airport have their expectations met as far as the provision of food and beverage,” he said.
“DIA are in ongoing discussion with all terminal operators to ensure trading hours and product offering meet terminal users expectations.”
