Vladimir Putin launches manhunt for topless Ukranian model
Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly launched a manhunt for a 24-year-old woman who stripped down at a sacred site in Moscow.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has launched a bizarre manhunt for a Ukrainian model who was filmed topless in Red Square, Moscow.
A video of Lolita Bogdanova, 24, posing without a shirt on at the historic site and popular tourist location, has surfaced amid the Putin’s apparent crackdown on debauchery.
While the footage, according to Ms Bogdanova, was uploaded in 2021 before the war — local reports the woman was today put on the Kremlin’s international wanted list.
The move by the Russian Interior Ministry was revealed by loyalist media outlet Readovka.
At the time, there was a scandal because the model’s stunt was in front of the onion-domed St Basil’s Cathedral, one of Russia’s most sacred places.
Lolita apologised for offending religious believers but said the footage had been filmed several years earlier, and was uploaded by someone else.
She was not detained, although she signed an agreement not to leave Russia pending a full investigation.
A leading churchman had demanded she demonstrate “repentance”.
The model is now believed to be abroad.
She has been put on the wanted list as Russia imposes an unprecedented new drive on traditional values, not seen in Putin’s first two decades of power.
The ministry has not explained why they are suddenly chasing the model. She is said to be wanted “under a criminal article”, without explaining the precise accusation.
She is originally from Makiivka, now in Russian occupied Ukraine.
It comes as a Russian man was detained after he partied in the buff.
Maxim Tesli, frontman of Puppies band, was seen wearing just a sock rather than underwear while performing in a club gig in St Petersburg.
And the sock eventually fell during his performance, leaving the post-punk singer completely naked.
He was apparently supporting rapper Vacio who attended an elite Russian sordid bash wearing just a sock on his manhood too.
After leaving the club, Tesli rushed to the airport seeking to fly abroad by an indirect route, local news reports.
But Putin’s morality guardians were quick to inform the cops.
