Two cars have smashed through the doors of an airport, with the drivers allegedly stealing cash before fleeing the scene.
Two vehicles have crashed through the front doors of a regional airport, with the drivers allegedly stealing cash from inside the terminal.
The incident happened just before 5am on Tuesday at Dubbo Regional Airport, with police now working to find the drivers.
“Two vehicles have been used to break the front doors of the airport terminal to gain access to the terminal,” a spokesman from Dubbo Regional Council said.
“Police are on scene working with staff.”

A police spokesman told NCA NewsWire the two men stole cash before driving away in separate white Toyota Landcruisers.
Orana Mid-Western Police District officers are investigating.
Inquiries are continuing, and anyone with dashcam footage or any further information is urged to contact Dubbo police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Flights have not been impacted, however, passengers are being asked to use an alternate entry.
