Shocking footage of wild brawl at Disneyland
Shocking viral footage from Disneyland shows a group of at least five adults involved in a wild brawl at the famed theme park.
Viral footage from Disneyland shows a group of adults in a wild brawl at the famed Anaheim, California, theme park.
At least five men and women were seen shoving, punching, kicking, and wrestling with each other close to several children near the Mad Tea Party ride, a video shared on Instagram shows.
It was unclear what led to the dust-up, which saw the brawlers nearly knocking over a pram as they threw wild haymakers at each other, the New York Post reports.
An Anaheim police spokesman said the department assisted Disneyland Resort Security in responding to the fight.
“No arrests were made and the incident remains under investigation,” the official said.
Disneyland did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Last year, Disney took the unusual step of reminding guests not to fight with each other at the “Happiest Place on Earth” following an uptick in melees.
Both Disneyland and Walt Disney World added courtesy sections to the “Know Before You Go” section on their website reminding guests that inappropriate behaviour can result in being kicked off the property.
For California parkgoers, Disneyland’s warning reads, “We ask all who come to this happy place to treat others with respect, kindness and compassion. To help guests have a safe and enjoyable experience, we regularly update our Disneyland resort rules.”
Walt Disney World in Florida shares a similar message encouraging guests to “be the magic you want to see in the world” and to always treat others with respect, kindness and compassion. The park warns those who can’t live up to the “simple wish” will be asked to leave the resort.
It comes as two people were banned from Walt Disney World in May after they attacked another family who asked them to move out of the way of their photo op.
