Shocking footage has surfaced of a pregnant passenger brawling with a US budget airline’s manager after she was denied boarding over her aggressive behaviour.

Que Maria Scott, 29, from Philadelphia, who said she was six months pregnant, allegedly tackled Spirit Airlines employee Jasmine Rhoden at a boarding gate at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Georgia on April 30.

The video shows Ms Scott, wearing a grey hooded jumper, appear to slam the staffer into a barrier before the pair rumble on the ground in front of stunned onlookers.

Fellow passengers were able to pull the women apart.

Then, as the 29-year-old was led away from the gate, she shocked fellow passengers with the announcement that she was pregnant, despite allegedly “smelling of alcohol”.

“And I’m pregnant, and I’m pregnant,” she could be heard saying.

She was later arrested for simple assault and disorderly conduct and transported to the Clayton County Jail in Jonesboro.

The caption footage that was shared to Twitter read: “There was a fight yesterday at Atlanta Airport. They were both added to the no fly list.”

However, it was later confirmed Ms Rhoden works for the US airline.

According to the Daily Mail, an Atlanta Police Department witness statement from Ms Rhoden said the incident unfolded when Scott approached the gate asking what was going on with the flight that they were supposed to take.

She then reportedly began to threaten one of the gate agents, who got on the phone to call police.

“Ms Rhoden stated that the passenger made a statement to other passengers around that, she will beat a b**ch up if she does not get on the plane,” the report said, according to the publication.

“At that moment, Ms Rhoden explained that she was going to deny her boarding to this flight due to her statement and actions at the gate area.”

Ms Scott reportedly pulled up her sweat pants and proceeded to attack Ms Rhoden after the gate agent closed the gate.

Ms Scott allegedly began “swinging her arms and hitting Ms Rhoden on the left side of her face”.

“Ms Rhoden then stated that Ms Scott began to pull her hair at the scene and pulling her into a barrier that was at the location causing them to fall to the ground,” the report continued.

The manager claimed Ms Scott fell on top of her and it took four other people to get the passenger off her.

“Ms Rhoden stated that she clearly smelled alcohol on Ms Scott even though Ms Scott claimed to be pregnant,” the report added.

Body cam footage provided by Atlanta Police Department shows Ms Scott gathering her carry-on luggage and walking away before being stopped by an officer who then places her under arrest.

As she is surrounded by several officers, she can be heard shouting, “I’m pregnant”.

She was taken to the Clayton County Jail in Georgia.
