Ryan Seacrest’s Star’s ex ‘swallowed shards of plastic’ on flight

Ryan Seacrest’s ex was seriously injured after swallowing shards of plastic from a drink on a flight, a new lawsuit claims.

An ex-girlfriend of Ryan Seacrest was seriously hurt when she swallowed shards of plastic that were in a beverage served to her on a flight to Rome, she claimed in a lawsuit.

Former “Amazing Race” contestant Shana Wall says her throat, oesophagus, vocal chords and digestive system were injured May 1 when she gulped down the broken plastic on the American Airlines flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport, the New York Post reports.

Wall, 51, was confined to bed and unable to work following the incident, and requires ongoing medical care as a result of the internal damage, she claimed in the Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit filed on Monday.

“[American Airlines] had a duty to provide beverages and food that was uncontaminated and fit for consumption,” the actress and model contended, and “created the dangerous, defective and unsafe condition on the aeroplane.”

She is seeking unspecified damages for the alleged negligence. Wall and her lawyer did not respond to inquiries from The Post.

American Airlines did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The California native, who now lives in the Meatpacking District, dated TV host and producer Seacrest from 2003 to 2005, according to reports. She made appearances on “Married … with Children” and “Entourage,” according to IMDB.

She is now a sommelier and contributor to the men’s magazine Best Life.

The culinary school grad shares her world travels, which feature aged wines and sprawling vineyards, with her thousands of online followers, and offers private wine tastings and classes, according to LinkedIn.

Social media posts in mid-May, after the alleged drink mishap on May 1, show her enjoying glasses of Barolo in northern Italy.

In June, a passenger on an Air India flight to San Francisco reported finding a blade-like piece of metal inside a sweet potato while eating a meal on the plane.

Last year, a traveller on a Korean air flight allegedly found a piece of glass in her mouth while drinking coffee, according to reports.

Neither passenger swallowed the foreign objects.
