BREAKING: A MAN has died after his light plane crashed near Gippsland, Victoria this afternoon. He was the only occupant.
A PILOT has died following a plane crash in country Victoria this afternoon.
The aircraft crashed in a paddock near Moe-Rawson Road, Tanjil South in Gippsland, about 2.35pm.
The single occupant died at the scene.
The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined and will be investigated by Recreational Aviation Australia with help from police who will prepare a report for the Coroner.
