QF1908 from Canberra to Brisbane was due to depart at 5.25pm but it was delayed.
Shortly after taking off, a warning light came on indicating there was a brake issue with the aircraft.
The pilots of a QantasLink service from Canberra to Brisbane received an indication in the cockpit about a possible issue with the aircraft’s braking system.
The pilot told passengers there was a technical issue and the aircraft would have to land earlier than usual.
The aircraft requested a priority landing and landed on the longest runway at Brisbane Airport with no issues.
All passengers disembarked normally.
Multiple emergency vehicles were on standby at the airport, following the aircraft into the airport, as is standard procedure.
