The incident took place around 2pm on Saturday when Andrea, an entrepreneur and fitness enthusiast, lost his balance and fell off a cliff on a hiking trail.

Sara, who was reportedly in a state of shock, alerted emergency services who dispatched a team of firefighters and alpine rescue officers, along with a medical team to the site.

Andrea’s body was recovered with a helicopter.

The couple had been uploading images of their climb up the hiking trail on their Instagram stories that day while Sara posted the last image of the two together before deleting her account.

The post read: “Our last damn photo together.

“You will always be with me, my little bear.”
