Easyjet passenger has tantrum on plane over mask
A passenger on board a plane who refused to wear a mask has been booted off after yelling “everybody f***ing dies”.
An easyJet passenger was kicked off a flight after coughing on fellow travellers and yelling “everybody f***ing dies”.
The woman, who had refused to wear a mask, sparked chaos as she swore at cabin crew and fellow passengers while being removed from the aircraft.
Shocking footage taken inside the easyJet A320 plane even shows the passenger appearing to cough on other travellers as she was escorted off the flight on Sunday afternoon.
The woman could be heard shouting “everybody f***ing dies” as she was ushered off the aircraft by staff.
“Everybody dies, you know that. Every f***ing body dies,” she yelled.
“If it’s from corona or not, everybody dies.”
A spokesperson for Belfast International Airport said airport police been called to reports of a “disruptive passenger” just after 4.30pm on Sunday.
“The passenger was subsequently arrested and is currently under investigation,” they said.
easyJet confirmed the incident on their flight to Edinburgh yesterday.
And they reiterated that they wouldn’t “tolerate disruptive behaviour towards other passengers and crew.”
A spokesperson for easyJet said: “easyJet can confirm that police attended flight EZY481 from Belfast to Edinburgh on 18th October due to a passenger behaving disruptively on-board and refusing to wear their face covering.
“In line with EASA guidelines, all passengers are currently required to bring their own face covering for their flight which must be worn during boarding and on-board, except when eating or drinking.
“Passengers receive clear communications before they travel and via announcements on-board to ensure they are aware of this requirement for the health and safety of everyone on-board.
“We will not tolerate disruptive behaviour towards other passengers and crew.”
