Disgusting moment passenger realises the person behind her has their bare feet on her headrest

A passenger’s photo on-board a plane has gone viral after she snapped a selfie showing what the person behind her was doing.

Airline hygiene: The filthiest spots on your flight

A plane passenger was left horrified after spotting a stranger’s dirty feet on her headrest.

The rude passenger put his feet just above her head during the flight.

The image, posted on a forum on Reddit, shows a woman frowning at the camera.

Behind her are two bare feet looking dirty, slightly crossed as they rest on her head rest.

The picture is captioned: “This is the one thing I am most worried about before getting on a plane.”

It isn’t clear who the person is in the picture.

However, the picture has had nearly 1000 comments in agreement that it was disgusting.

One person wrote: “I think we should just ban other passengers.”

Another added: “Ew those are some dirty a** feet.”

One asked: “That is so wrong and I’m not sure how it can be comfortable for the person doing it??”

Many had their own ideas to stop it, such as “sneezing on their feet” or “poking very firmly”.

Others said she should have told the passenger instead of posting online.

One person said: “Just get up and tell them to stop and if they don’t listen tell a flight attendant.”

Someone had their own story: “I was on a six-hour, overnight flight a couple months ago, someone up ahead was doing that. It was shut down by a flight attendant pretty quickly.”

It’s not the first time someone has used a plane cabin more like a loungeroom.

In August, a passenger on-board a plane was disgusted after a man put his bare feet on the in-flight entertainment screen before leaving toe marks on the wall.

American Comedian Andy Richter shared the images on social media.

Along with the images, he explained how he managed to get him to take them down.

He wrote: “So I snitched this f***er out to the flight attendant, who told him to put them down.

“Puts them back a few minutes later & I asked him to put them down. ‘They’re your bare feet, man’.

“He was shocked & put them down. When he just put them back up I decided f**k it, I’m tweeting.

“We had to get off the plane because of lightning and there were dirty toes smudges where his feet were.”

In October, another passenger divided social media with some saying she was a genius, while others said the hack was just wrong.

The woman was caught fast asleep by the emergency exit on the plane thanks to the ingenious device.

In the photo, the woman appears to be using an airline-issued blanket to create a leg sling that’s hanging from a handle on the side of the plane.

The hanging sling is holding her legs straight, creating the ideal conditions for a comfortable sleep.

Many people on the PassengerShaming.com Facebook page praised the woman for her ingenuity and for being a fresh change from the usually bad-behaved flyers who are shamed on the site.

“Brilliant! That’s thinking outside of the box,” one person said.

“I have to commend her. It prevents blood clots and promotes circulation in lower extremities,” another added.

But others said the woman would be in trouble for obstructing access to the emergency exit and creating a potentially dangerous situation.
