A TEARY Cassie Sainsbury looks set to reveal explosive details of how she ended up carrying 5.9kg of cocaine in her luggage.

In a sneak peak clip of Sunday’s 60 Minutes interview, Sainsbury tells journalist Liam Bartlett that “a lot of people have had a lot of digs at me because I can’t defend myself”.

Bartlett responds saying “this is your chance” and asks the 22-year-old some tough questions including “who talked you into it?” and whether her boyfriend Scott Broadbridge knew she had been working as a prostitute.

Barlett also asks Sainsbury why she looked upbeat when she was arrested in Colombia.

Sainsbury was arrested at Bogota’s El Dorado International Airport in April with bags of cocaine wrapped in black plastic and hidden inside headphone boxes.

In the clip Sainsbury appears to suggest the plot began in Adelaide and refers to a mystery male mastermind. When asked: “did he say he set this whole thing up?”, she answers: “yes”.

She also appears to repeat claims that she was threatened and forced to carry the drugs.

“If you don’t do this job, you’re going to lose your family,” she says in the clip.

“Until people know completely what happened they shouldn’t be forming opinions.”

The former personal trainer faces up to 30 years in jail if she is found guilty.

The 60 Minutes interview airs on Sunday at 8.30pm on Channel 9.
