The Aussie carrier announced the five day sale on Monday for short haul international destinations such as Fiji, Vanuatu, Bali, Samoa and Queenstown.
“With the back-to-work blues settling in, now is the ideal time for Australians to plan their next getaway, and with selected fares from $439 return, this sale is the perfect way to start ticking off bucket-list destinations,” Virgin Australia executive, Libby Minogue, said.
“Velocity members also have a great opportunity to earn Velocity Points and Status Credits with these sale fares.
“Velocity members can use these Points to help make future travel more affordable, while working to upgrade their Status.”
The cheapest fare starts at $439 return on Economy Lite from Melbourne to New Zealand’s picturesque South Island destination, Queenstown, while from Sydney it’s $469.
Travellers keen to check out Vanuatu can fly to the hotspot from Brisbane for $479.
Bali is also on the sale list with flights from the Gold Coast, Sydney and Brisbane from $509, $619 and $659, respectively.
Meanwhile, those eager to explore Samoa can do so at $689 return from Brisbane.
The sale fares are available to book until midnight AEST Friday, February 7 on select flights for travel between February 17, 2025 and December 12, 2025 (unless sold out prior).
For those looking to boost their Points balance or upgrade their Status this year, Velocity members can also earn Velocity Frequent Flyer Points and Status Credits on sale fares.
