Jetstar has just announced it has dropped the price on 50,000 domestic and international fares with prices starting from $38.

The budget airline’s huge sale kicks off at 9am today (October 20) for just one day only — until midday AEDT on Saturday, October 21.
However, there’s a catch. The sale is only for Club Jetstar Members — if you aren’t a member, it costs $55 annually.
The members sale will see airfares to domestic locations such as Cairns, the Sunshine Coast, Sydney and Melbourne, starting from just $38, one way.
Those who have plans to head overseas won’t miss out with flights from Perth to Bali costing just $135, while those leaving from Melbourne to the tourist hotspot will pay from $199.
New Zealand is also on the list with flights from the Gold Coast to Auckland from $179, while flights from Sydney to Fiji and Rarotonga are $179 and $229 respectively.
Travel dates vary per route but include early August 2024 to early September 2024.
For those who join Club Jetstar, benefits include early access to Jetstar’s sales, exclusive member-only fares and discounts on bags and seat selection.
Meanwhile, Virgin Australia also has a huge sale with domestic fares starting from $45 and international prices as low as $425.
The airline made the announcement on Tuesday, revealing flights to popular locations like the Sunshine Coast from Sydney have been reduced to just $69 (one way), costing passengers a total of $138 for Economy Lite fares.
There are also one-way flights to Launceston in Tasmania from $59, also one way from Sydney, with the cheapest ticket to Ballina Byron, from $45, costing $90 for a return.
The sale is on now until midnight AEST Monday, October 23 2023, for select travel dates between January 16 and August 29, 2024.
