Royal Jordanian is giving Trump some serious sass
DONALD Trump banned passengers from six countries from carrying electronics into the US, but this airline is highlighting just how ridiculous it is.
ROYAL Jordanian is on America’s blacklist, and it doesn’t want a bar of it.
Earlier this month, the United States announced it would ban passengers from six countries in the Middle East and Africa from taking electronics on flights.
The following day, the UK said it would follow suit, forbidding gadgets on inbound flights from Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia.
Royal Jordanian’s social media went into overdrive.

The airline has been poking fun at Donald Trump since he was a Presidential candidate, advising customers: “Just in case he wins ... Travel to the US while you’re still allowed to” in November last year.
The trolling continued when he struggled to get his executive order banning immigration from Muslim-majority countries off the ground.
This time, they’ve announced a poetry competition, offering two free tickets to the United States to the person who pens the best poem to the theme “#electronics ban”.
Unlike Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria where conflict is continuing, Jordan remains relatively stable.

It’s a tiny desert kingdom with few natural resources, that somehow had the misfortune of finding itself wedged between Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Israel.
It’s a thriving tourist destination, home to the spectacular Wadi Rum as well as the ancient city of Petra, made famous in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
Jordan has a stable leadership, and it’s been officially at peace since 1994.
It’s proven itself to be a powerful diplomatic force in the region — in fact, it’s one of only two Arab nations to have made peace with Israel — and a key ally of the US.
They’re not the only airline to express frustration at the arbitrary rule.
Last week, Emirates Airlines released a humorous short video starring Jennifer Aniston, asking the question: “Who needs tablets and laptops anyway?”
