Kyly Clarke goes public with new boyfriend at Bathurst after splitting up with Michael

After being spotted locking lips at Bathurst, Michael Clarke’s ex-wife Kyly was happy to be shown off in public by her Supercars star boyfriend.

Kyly Clarke has moved on from former flame Michael, making her public debut with new boyfriend James Courtney at the Bathurst 1000 on Sunday.

The Supercars star finished 10th at Mount Panorama on the biggest day of Australia’s motorsport calendar and was supported at the circuit by Clarke, nee Boldy, who split up with former Australian cricket captain Michael after seven years of marriage.

Clarke and Courtney were reportedly spotted “kissing passionately” trackside on Thursday and Sunday’s outing confirmed they are officially an item — nearly two decades after first dating.

Courtney used to race at the same go-karting club as Clarke’s brother Troy when they were kids and the pair have known each other since she was 11.

Clarke is a longtime motorsports fan and was a V8 grid girl in her younger days, crowned Miss Indy in 1999.

Courtney’s 16-year marriage with ex-wife Carys broke down in messy fashion in 2017 and he was forced to fight for custody of his two children.

Having both been involved in high-profile relationships that didn’t work out, Clarke and Courtney now look smitten with each other as they rekindle their romance.

A friend of the couple told The Daily Telegraph last week: “It is early days but they are very happy.

“Kyly loves motorsports, it is something she has been passionate about since childhood.

“They just clicked when they reconnected and everything is going well. It is like a fairytale because they were together all those years ago so it has come full circle.”

Courtney and Clarke are back together.

Unfortunately there was no podium finish for Courtney.

The former model is a big fan of racing.

Kyly and Michael confirmed their separation in February, revealing they had split in 2019 before making a public announcement months later.

“After living apart for some time, we have made the difficult decision to ­separate as a couple, amicably,” their statement read.

“With the greatest of respect for each other, we’ve come to the ­mutual conclusion that this is the best course for us to take while committed to the co-parenting of our daughter.”

Together the pair raise four-year-old daughter Kelsey Lee, who features regularly in their social media snaps.

Speaking on KIIS 1065’s Kyle and Jackie O Show in July, Michael said he and Kyly remain on great terms despite their break-up.

“I think I’m extremely lucky to have been able to go through a separation with the mother of my child and us still be great friends,” Michael said.

“I actually think Kyly and my friendship now is as strong as it’s ever been. We still talk daily and I think you’ve heard Kyly say as well both of us will always prioritise our daughter and a big part of that is a friendship between mum and dad.”

Michael has moved on with a new relationship himself. The cricket legend is dating fashion designer Pip Edwards, and the pair holidayed together in Noosa earlier this year with their respective children.

Kyly and Michael were married for seven years.
