Michael Clarke steps out to lunch with rumoured new partner

Former Aussie cricket captain Michael Clarke has been snapped with the woman rumoured to be his new squeeze after his Noosa scandal.

Months on from the very public breakdown of his previous relationship with Jade Yarbrough, reports earlier in the week had revealed Clarke had moved on with eastern suburbs socialite Rique Miroshnik.

Clarke wasn’t the only one rumoured to be moving on as Yarbrough was rumoured to have moved on with Vikings actor Travis Fimmel.

But the former Aussie cricket captain has been photographed out to lunch with Miroshnik in Double Bay in Sydney.

Clarke appeared in a good mood as he arrived at Neil Perry’s Margaret restaurant at about 3pm on Friday.

His good friend and property developer Max Shepard was also in attendance.

Clarke and Miroshnik sat next to each other at what was believed to be a birthday lunch for one member of the group.

The Daily Telegraph reported the pair had seen each other but that Clarke’s friends insist he is “single but dating” and not involved in anything “too serious”.

Miroshnik is the ex-wife of well known plastic and cosmetic surgeon Dr Michael Miroshnik.

She was also a competitor in the Miss Universe Australia pageant in 2010 under her maiden name, Sharman, when she was 22.

It was the year Jesinta Campbell won the title and competed internationally, before she married Buddy Franklin and took his surname.

Sydney Confidential reported earlier in the week Clarke had been “hunkered down at his Vaucluse mansion with former beauty queen, Miroshnik”.

Clarke also celebrated his 42nd birthday with a harbour party on a luxury yacht, with Miroshnik one of the 25 women on board.

Clarke and Yarbrough’s relationship came crashing down in a very public altercation which was videoed by a bystander.

In the video, Yarbrough can be heard accusing Clarke of cheating on her with his celebrity fashion designer ex-girlfriend Pip Edwards.

Clarke can be heard continually denying the claim, with his partner seen slapping him across the face at one point during the screaming match.

Karl Stefanovic and his partner Jasmine Yarbrough, sister to Jade, were also present during the fracas.

The screaming match took place in front of multiple people in a park, about 9.30pm, and was so confronting that an onlooker could be heard yelling “there’s children over there” as they encouraged the group to take the fight elsewhere.

The bystander who filmed the fight said he was first alerted to the drama when he spotted Clarke and Stefanovic in a heated exchange.

Clarke and Yarbrough first went Instagram official in August and were seen together in paparazzi photos in September out the front of Stefanovic’s house.

Jasmine is married to the Today star.

Clarke, the cricket TV commentator-turned breakfast radio host was reportedly introduced to Yarbrough through Stefanovic.

Their relationship came eight months after Clarke’s brief romance with Edwards, whom he dated after splitting from wife Kyly.

Clarke represented Australia in 115 Test matches and 245 ODIs after making his international debut in 2003.

The right-hander scored 8643 Test runs, including 28 centuries and a career-best of 329 not out against India at the SCG in 2012.

He captained Australia during the unforgettable 2013/14 Ashes whitewash and the triumphant 2015 World Cup campaign.
