An usher for the Boston Red Sox takes unbelievable MLB foul ball catch

THERE’s a new contender for catch of the year in America after a stadium employee blew minds with a freak 15 seconds of fame.

A Fenway Park usher has pulled off one of the fan catches of the year.

THE Boston Red Sox are having such a good year, even their ground staff are pulling off miracle plays.

In the second inning of a dour affair between the Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays, an usher pulled off a moment to snatch all the headlines.

Standing in the upper deck, an usher was watching the match when a foul ball came his way.

What happened next was the most nonchalant catch of all time.

The usher barely moved a muscle and took the ball insanely cleanly for his one-handed speccie.

Then to top it off, the usher showed he was a great guy, throwing the ball to a young family with a kid in the seats above where he was standing.

The moment was arguably the play of the night in a 1-0 win to the Red Sox, the team’s 100th win of the season, capping off a huge week for Boston after the side were the first team to clinch a post-season berth in the MLB this season.

The catch will go down as one of the fan catches of the season, including catches like Gabby DiMarco’s beer catch and the dad who caught a home run while holding his baby.
