Baseball fan catches foul ball in her beer and then does exactly the right thing

GABBY DiMarco may well be the most famous baseball fan in America right now, and for good reason after she caught a ball — and then became a legend.

GABBY DiMarco had her 15 minutes of fame overnight and, well, it was for good reason.

Sitting in the stands during the Padres-Braves game, DiMarco caught a foul ball from Atlanta’s Ender Inciarte. In her beer. Then, she did the right thing — the only thing — and downed it.

“It bounced from behind me, I was trying to catch it all, and it landed in my cup,” DiMarco said, per MLB.com.

When asked her about her decision to chug the beer, DiMarco told the San Diego Union Tribune that it was a simple one.

“So many people were cheering, ‘chug!’ I was like, ‘absolutely I will chug this beer, are you kidding me?’” she said. “I still have the ball in my cup and I’m never going to lose it.
