Two charged with drug trafficking over Unley meth bust

An Unley man charged with more than 30 counts of drug trafficking as detectives continue to investigate Adelaide’s methamphetamine industry.

A man has been charged with more than 30 counts of drug trafficking after being arrested by detectives from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch.

Just after 2pm on Wednesday detectives swooped on an Unley property and arrested a man and a woman.

The 47-year-old Unley man was charged with 31 counts of trafficking methamphetamine and fantasy.

A 40-year-old woman from Hawthorn woman was also arrested and charged with one count of possessing methamphetamine for sale.

Both were refused bail and are expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

The arrests were part of South Australia Polcie’s Operation ATLAS, which is targeting the manufacture and sale of crystal methamphetamine.
