Adelaide is set for a dry and sunny week following six consecutive days of rainfall.
The city's West Tce gauge has recorded a steady trickle of rain this month, with 16.4mm falling since Wednesday.
A further 5mm was recorded on the first day of the month, but now, the chance of any more liquid this week is slim.
It comes off the back of South Australia's second-driest January to August period since records began in 1900.
ICY MORNING | 'MOONBOW' SPOTTED IN MT GAMBIER
Adelaide is heading for a top of 17C today, mostly sunny, after a cold morning with patches of frost in the northern suburbs and other parts of the state.
The lack of cloud coverage saw temperatures plummet to 1.2C in Parafield, 0.5C in Nuriootpa and -0.3C in Kadina this morning. The coldest was -1.7C in Snowtown just after 5.30am.
But, conversely, senior forecaster Simon Ticke says that same lack of cloud will see temperatures warm up quickly today.
Early this morning, a "moonbow" was spotted at the Mt Gambier Airport.
Otherwise known as a lunar rainbow, it is formed the same way as a regular rainbow, but with the light coming from the moon instead of the sun.
The weather station's webcam captured it about 3am.

There's just a five per cent chance of a splash on Thursday, but the amount would be negligible.
Early forecasts show Sunday and next Monday could reach 24C and 23C respectively.
Mr Timcke said 24C would be the warmest day since May this year.
