No kidding – a rogue goat seen wandering the industrial streets of Wingfield over the weekend has been rescued from a production factory and has found a new home.

RSPCA and Port Adelaide Enfield Council officers finally coaxed the hollow-horned mammal into a car about 9.30am on Monday at Quality Plastics and Tooling.

Sighting’s of the goat were first reported to police on Saturday, but officers were unable to catch the baaaaad animal.

RSPCA officers located the goat on Sunday behind a padlocked gate at the production factory – on Cormack Rd – but mystery surrounds how the animal became trapped. Food and water were left at the site.

Shocked workers said the goat probably followed someone onto the property and was accidentally locked in.

The goat is now living at another factory in Wingfield, a short distance from its old home on South Rd.
