Man allegedly armed with pistol arrested over Torrensville petrol station robbery
A teenager has been arrested for threatening a servo worker with a gun, after 24 hours on the run.
A man who used a gun to steal cigarettes from a Torrensville petrol station has been arrested, police say.
The 19-year-old from Underdale was on the run for less than 24 hours before officers swooped and he was arrested on Monday.
Police will allege he walked into the petrol station – on Henley Beach Rd – and used a pistol to threaten a staff member about 7pm on Sunday.
He is charged with aggravated robbery.
No one was injured.
The man was refused bail and will appear at Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
