Adelaide Footy League: Aldi Division 4 Round 2 review

IT IS early days but Payneham and Port District look to be two of the key players in this grade after two rounds.

BROADVIEW hosts Golden Grove on Sunday when the Aldi Under-18 Red competition resumes after the Easter break.

Broadview opened up its season with a five-point loss in its recent match against Athelstone,

after having a bye in the first round, while Golden Grove has lost both its games against Tea

Tree Gully by 46 points and to Goodwood Saints by 33 points.

Luke Mittiga was best for the Kookaburras in the recent game.

It is early days but Payneham and Port District look to be two of the key players in this grade after two rounds. The Falcons are unbeaten with a solid 13-point win against Henley with James Bower best, while Port has played one game for a 66-point win against Henley.

Tea Tree Gully is home to Henley when the sides meet on Sunday. The Gullies have recorded one win from two matches, while Henley is winless after two rounds. Carlos Buccini was best for the Gullies when they lost to Flinders Park by 45 points in the recent match, while Kyle

Dalidowicz was solid for Henley when they lost to Payneham Norwood Union by 13 points.

Goodwood Saints host Flinders Park in a special Anzac Day (Tuesday, April 25) match at Goodwood Oval from 2pm.

Both sides have won one/lost on with the Saints beating Golden

Grove by 33 points last week with Angus Rama (two goals) their best. Flinders Park was too solid for Tea Tree Gully in their match with the Reds home by 45 points. Mitchell Smart was best for Flinders Park.

Port District has the bye.
