Tense new video hours before Clarke, Jade brawl emerges

New images showing Jade Yarbrough looking visibly upset during a “tense” exchange with Michael Clarke just hours before their spat have emerged.

A series of “tense” photographs taken just 48 hours before Jade Yarbrough and Michael Clarke were caught in an intense argument at a park, have emerged.

The images show the pair in what appears to be a strained exchange at the $10 million waterfront Noosa mansion they were staying at while on holiday with her sister and brother-in-law, Jasmine and Karl Stefanovic.

The pictures were taken on January 8 – two days before Jade accused her boyfriend of five months of cheating on her with his ex-girlfriend Pip Edwards in a very public spat.

In the new images Jade, 30, can be seen looking visibly upset, sitting on a step in the backyard of the holiday home.

The interior designer, who is wearing dark sunglasses, is sitting with her head slumped in her hand – a clear frown across her face.

Former Australian Test cricket captain Clarke is crouched beside her, appearing to talk to her, though his face is not visible.

In another photo, Clarke – who is wearing only black shorts and a white cap – can be seen helping Jade get up from the step.

While a third shows Jade walking away as Clarke appears to try and put his arms around her waist.

The new snaps show tension between the couple was bubbling days before their furious row erupted.

Clarke has since accepted “full responsibility” for the altercation.

Jade has not been seen since the video, published by The Daily Telegraph, emerged on Wednesday showing her in a furious spat with Clarke.

The clip shows Jade slapping Clarke as she screams at him, calling him a “f**ing dog”, while Karl Stefanovic and his wife Jasmine try to intervene.

Friends of Jade told The Daily Telegraph that she is “distraught and embarrassed” by the video.

Meanwhile Clarke has been trying to salvage his relationship, reportedly spending time on the phone with Jade into the early hours of Thursday morning.

The fight began when Clarke and Jade were joined for dinner in Noosa on January 10 by Karl and Jasmine as well as celebrity accountant Anthony Bell.

It’s understood Clarke’s celebrity fashion designer ex-girlfriend Pip Edwards and Jade had been in contact, sparking the confrontation between them.

The footage shows a shirtless Clarke limping in a park surrounded by a group who are trying to calm the situation, while a furious Jade screams at him then slaps him across the face.

“You f**ked her on December 17 … You f**ked her, you’re a f**king dog,” Jade screams.

Clarke responds: “Baby you’re wrong, you’re wrong.”

The screaming match took place in front of multiple people in a park, about 9.30pm, and was so confronting that an onlooker could be heard yelling “there’s children over there” as they encouraged the group to take the fight elsewhere.

The bystander who filmed the fight said he was first alerted to the drama when he spotted Clarke and Stefanovic in a heated exchange.

Queensland Police are now investigating the incident and no charges have been laid.

Stefanovic has also been quizzed about the clash though has remained tight-lipped.

However Pip issued a statement that accused the ex-cricketer of lying to her.

“This is not my circus,” Pip said in a statement.

“Yet again, Michael in his true nature has not taken responsibility for his actions and I was blatantly lied to.”

Pip and Clarke dated for less than a year in 2020, but were reported to have rekindled their romance in October 2021 when claims emerged that the pair were “back on”.
