‘Pray for her’: Julia Faustyna awaiting results which could determine if she has cancer

The Polish woman who believes she could be missing girl Madeleine McCann is set to receive a life-changing update imminently.

Police dispute woman’s claims

The Polish woman who believes she could be missing British girl Madeleine McCann will receive an update on her cancer scare by the “end of this week”, says the investigator looking into her claims.

Private investigator Dr Fia Johansson, a self-professed psychic medium who has taken Julia Faustyna from Poland to the US to investigate her case, said they are desperately waiting for DNA and health results.

The outcome could determine if Ms Faustyna, 21, who also goes by the last name Wandelt and Wendell, has leukaemia after reportedly enduring “pain in her bones”, nosebleeds and “abnormal” blood tests.

And the DNA test results will give them the answers as to whether Ms Faustyna is, in fact, missing British girl Madeleine McCann, who disappeared from her hotel room while the family was on holiday in Portugal back in 2007.

Worried over her health issues, Dr Johansson posted a video to Instagram asking viewers to “pray” for Ms Faustyna with answers to come back any day now from CT and MRI scans, Daily Star reports.

“Julia is waiting for two answers right now,” she said.

“One is her DNA test. A second is her health. Both are very stressful, both making her … feel very uncomfortable and vulnerable.”

The 40-year-old claims she is unable to sleep at night knowing something could be wrong with Ms Faustyna’s health.

“[I pray] please please please, [by the] end of this week, the doctor will say everything’s fine and it’s just something else,” she said.

If Ms Faustyna does require treatment, Dr Johansson said she will ensure she gets all the support she needs.

“[Julia] says this is the first time she has experienced love or felt like she belonged in a family,” she said.

While the results of her medical tests are important, both women – and the rest of the world – are desperately waiting to see the outcome of Ms Faustyna’s DNA test.

“When the DNA test comes, which I am really badly waiting for and checking every day the status of it, we will match with a DNA test of [Madeleine] McCann,” she said.

“[She could also match to] anyone else out there looking for their kid that may [be] missing at that time.”

The results could end months of speculation over whether Ms Faustyna really is the missing British girl who disappeared just before her fourth birthday in Portugal in May 2007.

Ms Faustyna went viral claiming she could be Madeleine McCann earlier this year after creating several social media accounts, most now deleted, under the username ‘iammadeleinemccann’.

She used mostly Instagram and TikTok, posting pictures that showed physical similarities between herself and McCann.

“I have similar eyes, shape of face, ears, lips, I had the gap between the teeth [as Madeleine],” Ms Faustyna wrote in one Instagram post, with side-by-side photos of herself and the kidnapped child, who for years has been presumed dead.

She also claimed she had little recollection of her childhood and said she was suspicious of her parents as they never showed her a photo of her mother while pregnant.

Ms Faustyna has since submitted samples for three different forensic examinations that will outline her DNA sequence, along with a 23andMe-style genetic test to establish her ancestry, Dr Johansson told RadarOnline.com.

Internet users have also speculated that Ms Faustyna could be Swiss girl Livia Schepp, who disappeared in 2011 with her twin Alessia, aged six.

“Julia is very open to the idea she may indeed be another missing child and they are hoping to carry out a DNA test with her family,” Dr Johansson told The Sun.
